(yup, whatever is not covered, spills out and it ain't pretty...) WELL... check out this god given pair: It's Low cut, Very low. But it comes with a built-in jean "corset" from the cut up to the waist. (which by the way, you can also take apart if you really need too)... (so,you can bend over and not worry bout your crack and other better-off- hidden talents....) Happy girl here!!!! :D

Other uses for your Laptop:

Hot water bottle.
{ I leave my computer on the bed
(I am freezing my tits off; it's raining and cold here).
I go to the living room. I rush back to bed. I read a little online. I chat. then I shut the computer and move it .

Where it was patiently waiting for me, then entertaining me with love ,my bed is nice and warm. As if a little body was there,making it a bit more inviting on a chilly night.}

Unexpected sisterhood

Last night a brave cover (who's never rehearsed the show with the cast) stepped in to sing (and act) the opera with us. She did very well. Our roles reversed somewhat, as, this one time, I was the "decisive" one who was first behind all the actions, slightly "bossing" my sis around... (what usually is the other way between Dorabella and Fiordiligi). But it was quite interesting to play my role a bit differently, adjusting to the circumstances. Sometimes surprises can be a refreshing challenge.

Cosi va la Prima

As opening night began, our soprano was starting to feel like her voice was escaping her by the note. Already in our very first entrance, a worried look appeared on her face, and ,being closely by her side, I could hear the cords starting to play tricks on her.
Personally, I had an interesting night my self. It's hard enough to fake a happy duet when you know that the entire British press is in the house, but it's even harder to fake it when on the top of everything you are worried that your partner would quit at any given moment and leave you with a person with which you have never rehearsed.
The whole cast came together as a perfect support system and held our Fiordiligi's hand , and breathed deeply with her, before each entrance. We all know how scary it is to sing an entire opera, number by number; When you have to concentrate on being able to start and FINISH your next scene. Then get off stage, and be worried sick about the next thing you might or might not be able to accomplish.
Luckily, my Fiordiligy is a trouper, and the cast is a bunch of angels. We did it! and, more than that, I feel we did really well.
In one of the scenes our ability to improvise was tested; My dear sister, being as sick and worried as she was, got confused with her next line. luckily, it was a recit in which I am trying to find out whether she would consider the idea of flirting with the new guys.
There was an awkward silence, and since she didn't respond, I got up and walked towards her.(seeming to encourage an answer). At that point, I decided to skip her line and go a head with mine, (which was only one word). we looked at each other perplexed, and then both said it at the same time:"Dunque".
This, made our characters giggle (as it would, and as it so often happens to two sisters who know each other very well, and start talking at the same time). I thought it was very cute. After that we all got back on track , ready to begin our second duet. :)

Sheisse

Tonight was a very difficult night to pull off. My "sister" our Fiordiligi has lost her voice and decided to lipsink to her cover who was singing from a pretty far balcony in the house. If you know this opera, you probably can recall that MOST of my stuff is singing ,(and acting, and REACTING) duettes and recites with Fiordiligi, and most of the rest is ensembles (with her as well). Well; Tonight, I had to deal with a Ghost. I had to be believable (and believing) while there was absolutely nothing to help me there. It was pretty doomed.
The only worst thing than being in MY shoes, was being in Hers. (which if you remember, happened to me not too long ago as well...).
But I feel pretty devastated at the moment. Dress rehearsals here are ALMOST as important as opening night; the house is full, and the show runs as it were any normal performance. and, of course, we are being judged just the same, as we will be in a few days. gotta be perfect, honey.
tonight, I simply couldn't.

All together now

I realized ,opening that sweet little "GoEar" "Fame" theme song , that I can't help but smile. a BIG smile.
As a 70's baby, I grew up watching (religiously!) the "Fame " series on TV. Never missing a single episode; THIS, was my dream, my vision, after all.
As far as I can remember my self, what I really wished for, was to go to a school like the "Fame" school in New York; Where I would be hanging out with musical geniuses like Bruno, hunky dancers like Leroy, funny girlfriends (such as Doris) and the main thing is, that in our free time, we would gather around the piano (which most likely *I* would play) and start making up beautiful (eighties, lol) (pop, jejeje) songs.(!)
It would start with a mellow verse (my rhymes, chords and melodies would just seem to flow perfectly). For the Second verse, a few of my colleagues would start harmonizing with me. As the song comes together, there will be orchestra, synths, bass and of course drums, added from a few new faces who happened to pass by. A bunch of dancers would drop in and start dancing along. (and don't forget; they'd take it to the streets, too!)
At the end of (MY!) song, the entire school is THERE, making ART! (heehee)...
"Fame" was the reason I didn't go to the local high school where most of my friends enrolled; I chose to commute to the nearest "high school for the arts" I could find. Alas, it was nothing like "Fame", but it got me somewhat closer to the fulfillment of my New York dream.
When I finally came to audition in the States, the "Fame" school didn't exist anymore,(boooo!) and so I began my professional studies specifically as an opera singer, and not the multi- whatever I originally had wanted to become.
I do have a group of immensely talented friends , in Berlin, which comes together periodically , and enjoys endless nights of creative improvisation. And if I lived there, I am sure I would end up doing a number based on my favorite song du jour: "Fame" . :)
